Mandalay – Ava – Shwe Sar Yan (On Dottawaddy River)
ITINERARY
Day 1 Mandalay – Shwesaryan
In the morning, set sail on the road to Mandalay to AVA, And continue to explore the former Royal Capital INWA (AVA) by a horse cart. Visit Nanmyint tower, Maha Aungmye Bonzan monastery, built of brick and stucco; Bargaya monastery, famous for its impressive ornate woodcarvings and teak posts.
Then continue up river on Dottawaddy river. You will see the differences of water colour of two rivers. Countainue to famous Shwe Sar Yan Pagoda on the north bank of Ayearwaddy, built in 1053 by the Shan princess Sao Mon Hla on her journey home after wedding and later leaving King Anawyatha (1044?1077) of Bagan in central Burma,holds its annual festival starting just before the full moon of Tabaung(March).Sail on the river and stay overnight on board. Lunch, Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 2 Shwesaryan – Drop off
In the morning after your trip, we will transfer you back to Mandalay by car. Breakfast on board.

We will transfer back to your hotel in Mandalay in the morning.
