Inle – Narbaung – Htampayar – Kakku – Taunggyi – Inle (Excursion to Kakku):


Leave from Nyaung Shwe to Kakku (KKU) by car via Taunggyi the capital of Shan State. Also we would have chance to visit (5) day market on the way. After that proceed to Narbaung,

from Narbaung we will keep walking for about 2 hrs to Htampaya. On the way to Htampaya could observe the natural water source that the near villagers rely on not only drinking but for agriculture. By the time we could see the ancient cave by passing through the farms.

Car will wait ready at the end of the short trek and proceed to KKU, Lunch would be catered at Hlaing Kone restaurant at KKU pagoda complex. Pay homage to recently discover ancient KKU Buddhist stupas aligned in parallel rows covering on an area of nearly one square kilometer.

In the evening, depart from KKU via Taunggyi to Nyaung Shwe.

Total walking time = 1.5 hrs
