Trekking and Cultural tour: Yangon - Kanpetlet - Mt. Victoria - Mindut - Bagan - Popa - Yangon (8 days - 7 nights)

Day 1: Yangon Arrival

Meet on arrival at Yangon International Airport by Exotic Myanmar guide. Transfer to hotel for check in. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Bogyoke Aung San Market, formerly known as Scott market. In the evening, visit Shwedagon Pagoda - over 2500 years old, the most famous pagoda in Myanmar, one of the wonders of the world. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight Yangon.

Day 2: Yangon - Bagan - Kanpetlet

Pick up at hotel and transfer to airport for flight to Bagan. Proceed to Kanpetlet by car, about 150 km away from Bagan, on Bagan-Chauk-Saw-Kanpetlet Road. Lunch in local restaurant on the way. Arrive to Kanpetlet in the evening. Dinner in local restaurant. Overnight in Kanpetlet.

Day 3: Kanpetlet - Mt. Victoria - Mindut

Breakfast in local restaurant. Drive up to 10-miles camp where trekking up hill starts. To reach to the mountain peak takes about 2 hrs. Have lunch at the hill top. Go back down to 10-miles camp and drive to Mindut which is about 30 miles away. If time permits, visit some Chin villages on the way. Dinner in local restaurant. Overnight in Mindut.

Day 4: Mindut - Bagan

Visit Mindut market in the morning. Breakfast at the local restaurant. Take a new route, Mindut-Kyauktu-Pauk-Kama-Kyunchaung, to go back to Bagan. Kyunchaung lies on the west bank of Ayeyarwaddy river. Cross the river by boat about 45 mins. Arrive Bagan in the evening. Dinner in local restaurant. Overnight in Bagan.

Day 5: Bagan - Popa

After breakfast, commence sightseeing famous Bagan temples and pagodas such as Shwezegon Pagoda, Gu Byauk Gyi Temple, Htilominlo Temple, Khay Min Ga Temple and many more to see their wall paintings, to study their history and different architecture styles. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, proceed for sightseeing Ananda Temple which shows a masterpiece workmanship of 11th century architecture. Continue to Mingala Zedi Temple and Shwesandaw Pagoda where a narrow staircase leads you to the open terrace for a panoramic view of Bagan. Evening sunset view from Shwesandaw Pagoda. In the evening, proceed for Popa Mountain Resort. Check in and dinner at resort. Overnight Popa.

Day 6: Popa

Breakfast at resort. Sightseeing of Taungkalet and nat shrines where visitors can observe local worshipping of spirits. Lunch at resort. Afternoon sightseeing includes Popa National Park, Sandalwood plantation and Popa village. Dinner at resort. Overnight Popa.

Day 7: Popa - Nyaung U - Yangon

Breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer to Nyaung U airport for flight to Yangon. Transfer to hotel.

Day 8: Yangon departure

Breakfast at hotel. In time transfer to airport for international departure.
