DAY 1: WELCOME TO VIETNAM (Hanoi)! (No Meal)

Welcome to Hanoi!Tran Quoc - A sacred pagoda of the high society

Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport by your guide. The guide will assist you to transfer to your hotel for check-in. Depending on your available time, take a short panoramic tour seeing Long Bien bridge, Hanoi Ceramic Mosaic Mural, West Lake, Tran Quoc pagoda.

HANOI

Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is known for its centuries-old architecture and a rich culture with Southeast Asian, Chinese and French influences. At its heart is the chaotic Old Quarter, where the narrow streets are roughly arranged by trade. There are many little temples, including Bach Ma, honoring a legendary horse, plus Đồng Xuân Market, selling household goods and street food.

DAY 2: FULL DAY HANOI CITY TOUR (B- -)One Pillar Pagoda - A Thorough Guide To Explore One Pillar Pagoda From A To  Z - AZ Local Trip %

Breakfast at hotel. Start your tour this morning at the mausoleum of the historic figure and father of modern Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh (viewed from the outside). Then it’s on to a wooden ethnic minority style house which was his temporary residence from 1954 to 1969. In the same complex you will see the One Pillar Pagoda, founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 which has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. According to legend, the pagoda’s shape was inspired by the lotus flower and this structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. Your next stop is the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university. Constructed in 1070, the gardens and wellpreserved architecture offer a glimpse into Vietnam’s past. In the afternoon, visit your choice of the Ethnology Or Vietnamese Women Or National Fine Arts Museums Or Hoa Lo. Time only allows for one to be visited so please decide which one you would most like to see. Transfer pass The Opera House to the wonderful Hoan Kiem Lake and walk across the famous red wooden bridge to visit Ngoc Son Temple set on a tiny island. This is the perfect opportunity for a memorable photograph. At the end of the day, take a walking tour of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, also known as the ‘36 streets’. This bustling area of narrow streets and alleys is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. It's a great place to explore with plenty of photo opportunities all around you.

DAY 3: FULL DAY HA LONG BAY (B-L-D)Ha Long Bay - History, Location & Key Facts 2024 - Viator

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ha Long Bay is one of the most magnificent scenic spots in all of Vietnam. Washed by water for hundreds of thousands of years, the bay features thousands of limestone karsts and isles in various sizes and shapes, each topped with thick jungle vegetation, rising spectacularly from the ocean. Several of the islands are hollow, with enormous caves.

This morning drive from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay (200km/ approx. 3 hrs). You will be picked-up and go on a pleasant overland journey to Ha Long Bay via new highway. On arrival of Ha Long, embark and your cruise starts. Relax and enjoy. Seafood lunch and dinner on board (Vietnamese cuisine).

Remarks: **

Halal/Indian food is not available on cruise. We can serve meals with No pork/ no beef or Veg. **In the occasion of bad weather conditions, e.g. high winds, monsoons, thunderstorms, cyclones, storms, etc., the management board has the authority to cancel all cruise to guarantee the safety of tourist. Should this happen, accommodation will be at Ha Long City Hotel instead.

DAY 04: HA LONG BAY – HANOI TRANSFER BY SHUTTLE BUS, HANOI – [FLY] – HOCHIMINH CITY (Brunch)

The morning starts by an early Tai Chi exercise on the upper deck of the junk, followed by a light breakfast. The cruise continues at the same time when brunch is served. After brunch on board, disembarkation then transfer back to Hanoi by shuttle bus. From Hanoi, transfer with driver only to Noi Bai airport for flight to HCMC. Suggestion flight VN259 18:00-20:15 (Price in Supplement)

On arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport, airport pick-up and transfer with driver only to hotel. Hotel check-in and rest time. Overnight in HCMC. Dinner at own account.

Day 05: FULL DAY CU CHI TUNNELS – CITY TOUR (B- - )Cu Chi Tunnels in Saigon: A ULTIMATE travel guide for the day

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Cu Chi district. Leaving the city behind, the scenery changes to views of rice paddies, villagers drying noodles by the side of the road and other scenes typical to southern Vietnam. Arrive and start the visit of the famous Cu Chi Tunnels which consist of an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters (Viet Cong) during both the French and American wars. Start the visit with the Ben Dinh or Ben Duoc sections of the tunnel. Here you can imagine what it was like to be a guerrilla complete with Russian Carbine rifles and AK 47’s. Return to the city. In this afternoon, you head to the Reunification Hall to visit the residence of the President Ngo Dinh Diem of the former South Vietnam until 1975 (1960s - Apr 1975s). here you will have the opportunity to view formal meeting rooms, private bedrooms and war situation rooms 10 meter beneath earth’s level. This address today still holds many important functions in HCMC. You will learn important historical facts about this building. Other colonial structures included in the tour are Notre Dame Cathedral, built in the late 1880s by French colonists, it is one of the few remaining strongholds of Catholicism in the largely Buddhist Vietnam currently being renovated we can only view from the outside, and the General Post Office, constructed when Vietnam was part of French Indochina in the late 19th century Finally, the tour ends at the famous Ben Thanh market, where you may practice your bargaining skills and pick up some souvenirs before being returned to your hotel.

Day 06: FULL DAY MEKONG DELTA (MY THO) (B - - )Mekong Delta Regional Masterplan | Royal HaskoningDHV

The Mekong Delta is also known as Vietnam's 'rice basket’-- a fertile area spreading nearly 50,000 sq km. Here the mighty Mekong river ends by splitting itself into nine major tributaries. The Vietnamese name these nine tributaries “Nine Dragons.’’ AM 08:00, Pick-up at your hotel lobby and drive to My Tho, a Mekong Delta town two hours away from Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival in My Tho you will first visit Vinh Trang pagoda. Built in 1849 in My Phong village this beautiful structure features a mixture of Chinese, Vietnamese and Angkor (Cambodian) architectural styles and consists of five buildings, two ornamental yards and 178 pillars. Feel free to stroll in the gardens and check out the intricate carvings… Following this you will board a boat for a cruise on the Mekong river, whilst sailing you will be passing natural creeks and quiet villages and watch rural people going to work. You will see an interesting fishermen's port and the traditional stilt houses. Keep your camera handy! Land on an island to visit a workshop making coconut candy by traditional method. Walking and dropping at peasant’s house to taste of homemade honey tea. Visit an orchard to taste tropical fruits and enjoy folk-music performed by the simple peasants. Return to the cruise boat by small rowing boats through a short stretch of waterways.

Enjoy your final breakfast at the hotel. Take a walk or get some last-minute souvenirs before your check out at midday. Your driver will meet you to assist with luggage and take you to the airport for your departure flight.

Requirements for international tourists coming to Vietnam (TBC):

+ Vaccinate: Having a certificate of full dose of COVID-19 vaccine recognized by a competent authority in Vietnam (except for children under 12 years old traveling with parents or guardians). The duration of injection of the 2nd or 1st dose (for the 1 dose vaccine) is valid for 14 days and not more than 12 months from the time of departure.
