The Luxury Upgrade is an add-on package that can be applied to any of our shore excursions — from a short Yangon city tour to a full-day Bago excursion or a multi-day Hpa-An or Mawlamyine extension — transforming a well-run standard excursion into a genuinely five-star experience. Rather than a separate itinerary, it layers five signature inclusions onto the destination and stops of your choice: a dedicated private specialist guide, a chauffeured luxury SUV, a fine dining meal, VIP priority entrance where available, and a professional photographer who captures your day and delivers a polished, edited gallery afterward. The Five Signature Inclusions
1. Private Guide
A dedicated specialist guide — briefed on your interests and background — accompanies your party alone for the full duration of the excursion, offering a depth of commentary and a refined pace beyond our standard private guiding.
2. Luxury SUV
A chauffeur-driven Lexus LX or equivalent luxury vehicle replaces our standard air-conditioned car, with chilled beverages, Wi-Fi, and a smoother, more comfortable ride between stops.
3. Fine Dining
A leisurely, multi-course meal at a landmark restaurant is built into the day, hosted and arranged by your guide, in place of a standard lunch break or no meal stop at all.
4. VIP Entrance
At sites where priority access is available — such as Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, Shwemawdaw Pagoda in Bago, or Kyaiktiyo Pagoda at Golden Rock — the Luxury Upgrade arranges no-queue entrance and, where possible, access to quieter vantage points not seen on standard visits.
5. Professional Photographer
A professional photographer accompanies your excursion throughout, allowing you to stay present in the moment while receiving a professionally edited digital gallery, typically delivered within 3–5 business days of your excursion.

How to Book the Luxury Upgrade
Choose any of our shore excursions — Yangon, Bago, Mawlamyine, Hpa-An, Golden Rock, Myeik, or Kawthaung — and let us know you'd like the Luxury Upgrade added when you book. We'll confirm the applicable supplement, arrange restaurant and VIP entrance details in advance where relevant, and assign your specialist guide, luxury SUV, and photographer ahead of your call. The underlying itinerary, stops, and duration remain the same as the standard excursion unless you'd also like the pace or stops adjusted, which we're happy to discuss.
Important Notes
- VIP entrance is available at major pagoda sites (Shwedagon, Shwemawdaw, Kyaiktiyo) but may not apply at smaller sites, markets, or museums where no priority-access option exists; your guide will confirm what's available for your chosen destination.
- Fine dining restaurant selection depends on the destination and may be more limited in smaller towns such as Bago, Mawlamyine, Hpa-An, Myeik, or Kawthaung; a comparable best-available venue will always be used.
- The Luxury Upgrade is capped at 4 travelers per vehicle/guide/photographer group; larger parties require multiple luxury groups at additional cost.
- The professionally edited photo gallery is typically delivered within 3–5 business days of your excursion via a private online gallery link; raw/unedited files are available on request at additional cost.
- For our 2-day/1-night Hpa-An and Mawlamyine extensions, the Luxury Upgrade includes an upgraded hotel category where available, in addition to the five signature inclusions — ask us for details.
- Alcoholic beverages at fine dining meals are not included in the Luxury Upgrade supplement but can be arranged on request at additional cost.

The core stops and destinations stay the same as the standard excursion; the Luxury Upgrade enhances how you experience them — with a specialist guide, upgraded transport, VIP access, a proper meal, and professional photography — rather than changing where you go, unless you'd like the itinerary adjusted too.
Is VIP entrance available everywhere?
VIP priority entrance applies mainly at major pagoda sites such as Shwedagon, Shwemawdaw, and Kyaiktiyo. At markets, museums, and smaller sites, there typically isn't a formal priority-access option, though your specialist guide will still provide an elevated, unhurried experience.
What if I want the Luxury Upgrade for a group larger than 4?
