Planning a trip to Thailand? There’s an important change you need to know!
From May 1, 2025, all foreign visitors entering Thailand will be required to complete a Digital Arrival Declaration (TDAC) instead of the traditional paper form. This is a significant step forward in making the immigration process faster, safer, and more convenient for international travelers.
✅ What’s Changing?
Thailand is officially moving from paper forms to a digital entry declaration system. All travelers must submit their TDAC form online within 3 days before their arrival in Thailand.

After submission, a confirmation email will be sent. Simply present this digital confirmation at the immigration counter upon arrival in Thailand.
📋 Thailand Entry Procedure (Effective May 1, 2025):
- 📝 All foreign travelers must complete the TDAC online before their trip.
- 📨 The digital form replaces the old paper arrival card but contains the same required information.
- 📍 A printed or digital copy of the confirmation must be presented to immigration officers upon arrival.
⚖️ Important Entry Laws in Thailand:
- 🌍 Digital Arrival Card is mandatory for all international visitors (except transit passengers).
- 🕘 90-Day Reporting: Foreigners staying in Thailand over 90 days must report to immigration every 90 days.
- 💼 Work Permit: Required for any kind of employment in Thailand.
- ✈️ Transit passengers are exempt from submitting this form.
