Adventurous Trip to Chin Village by Trekking

Yangon – Bagan – Mt. Victoria (Chin Village) – Yangon

Day – (1)      Arrival Yangon & Yangon Sightseeing    (D)

 

 

Upon arrival, you’ll greet by your guide who will accompany and transfer you to your hotel.

Yangon, formerly known as Rangoon, is a relatively quiet and charming city. Its impressive colonial and spiritual heritage makes it one of the most fascinating cities in Southeast Asia.

This afternoon, we’ll take a tour around the city center which is filled various historical and colonial buildings partly by car or partly on foot. We’ll first visit to Sule Pagoda which is a 2200-year-old temple surrounded by government buildings and commercial shop. Then, you’ll pass along the way to Mahabandoola Park where Independent Monument exists. Continue your tour by passing City Hall, a little india and a little china.

 

From Here, end your day at Shwedagon Pagoda which is one of the wonders of the world. It was built 2500 years ago and enshrined with hair relics of Buddha and a place where to meet devoted Buddhists meditating and praying. Enjoy breathtaking views of the golden stupa from this vantage point.

Overnight in Yangon.

 

 

 

 

 

Day – (2)    Yangon – Bagan & Bagan Sightseeing   (B)

 

This morning, you’ll transfer to the airport for the flight to Bagan (Nyaung Oo).

Bagan, located on the banks of the Ayeyarwady (Irrawaddy) River, is home to the largest and densest concentration of Buddhist temples, pagodas, stupas and ruins in the world with many dating from the 11th and 12th centuries.

On arrival, your journey begins with a visit an elevated temple from where you will have a panoramic view of the magnificent plains of Bagan.

Continue with a visit to the golden Shwezigon Pagoda, first and prototype monument, which was built in Myanmar style in 1087. Then, visit to Gubyaukgyi, a cave temple @ Wetkyi-Inn Village which is well-known for its exquisite jataka mural paintings and the elegant Htilominlo Temple noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sandstone decorations.

This afternoon begins with a visit to a traditional lacquer ware workshop where you can observe the production of one of Myanmar’s best-known handicrafts. Continue to Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece and one of Bagan’s most beautiful temples.  Built in the early Mon-style, Ananda contains two unique Buddha images whose expressions seem to change depending on the distance from which the statue is viewed.

From here, you will visit to Thatbyinnyu, the highest temple in Bagan, massive Dhammayangyi Temple, noted for its remarkable brickwork, and Sulamani Temple.

Enjoy an unforgettable sunset over the plains from the upper terrace of one of the temples.

Day – (3)   Bagan – Min Dat   (B/L/D)

 

 

After breakfast, drive to Mindat. Photograph every single view to become every moment as a memory emotionally created inside your heart. Time to enjoy our truly Myanmar traditional food taste in a village called Paut. Quickly check in the hotel and let’s hangout around the town.

Day – (4)    Mindat Trekking     (B/-/-)

 

First, we can shop around morning market in the town then we’ll go trekking to Panort Village, one of the biggest villages near Mindat. With 20 houses on the hill side, we’ll continue to the small and hazy Yit Queen Village. Exploring the cultural of village monastery. Then, trek back to Mindat.

 

Stay overnight in Mindat.

 

 

 

 

Day – (5)    Mindat – Chake Chaung River – Mindat   (B/-/-)

 

After breakfast, take drive to the trekking point and then, start trek to Chake Chaung River, create excellent experience while crossing the river on the suspension bridge. Bring yourself back to the stone age when we trek to Htwe Inn Village and you’ll be amazed by Stone Age people. Explore their slaman’s house to observe their beliefs and customs. Bring those traditional huts which you can see in the movies to the real life in Lee Shee. On the height of 1600m, there’s Kyar Aie Nu Village, a big village. You’ll absolutely drop your jaws while sightseeing Chin Traditional hand-made smoking pipe workshop. Then, trek back to the trekking point and drive to Mindat. Overnight in MIndat.

Day – (6)   Mindat – Mt. Victoria – Mindat    (B/-/-)

 

Today, among the things we’re going to do, Mt. Victoria is the most interesting, I believe. And a nice garden, The Nat, beside Mt. Victoria. Unbelievably, only 800 populations with small primary school village is the biggest one during your trekking along the hill side of the Chin mountain; Turdo Village, Htay Pan Village and Masan Village. Then, trek back to Mindat and overnight in Mindat.

 

 

Note: Guests cannot stay overnight at Village, need to back to Hotel in Mindat. And there will be surcharged if guests want to take photo for tribes.

 

Day – (7)   Mindat – Tatoo Face Woman’s Village – Mindat    (B/-/-)

 

Today is the fourth day that we’ve been trekking and sightseeing in the villages. At Loat Pet Pe Village, we can have not only lunch but also can discover holy wooden poles and stone tombs. The life of ancient-styled huts made of wood and bamboo can be explored in the KYARDO Village which is on the hill side of the green mountain’s valley. You’ll definitely drop your jaws, seeing those tattoos faced women with traditional costumes who will be warmly welcoming with their authentic Chin Traditional dance and also serving you their traditional wine, KHAMGYE. Then, trek back to Mindat and overnight in MIndat.

Day – (8)  Mindat Free Day  (B/-/-)

 

Enjoy your day at leisure in Mindat (Own Arrangement).

Day – (9)   Mindat – Bagan(B/-/-)

 

Spend your morning time with a very new taste by shopping around Mindut’s morning market and discover the morning routine of people around there. Take a road trip from MINDUT to BAGAN and snap every single moment, photograph among the pine forest hills and also the view that your eyes are going to set on. Also, a short stop at the top of the Ponetaung Ponenyar mountain range, experiencing observing small stupas and Nat shrines at the summit. Dare you to do like local people; during their road trip, they take a short rest at those small tea shops. So why don’t you just try it?  When finished lunch in Paut Village, we will operate undersized visits to some more Burmese villages in the time of our way.

Board a local boat for a slow cruise down the Irrawaddy River.  As you cruise the waters, observe the lifestyle of the fishermen and riverside villagers as well as enjoying the unique perspective of Bagan’s temples.

Day – (10)   Bagan – Yangon – International Departure  (B)
