Yangon – Kyaikhtiyoe (Golden Rock) – Bago – Yangon

Welcome to Golden City, Myanmar. Upon arrival, you’ll greet by your guide who will accompany. This morning, we explore the charm of Yangon city starting from Sule pagoda to Colonial buildings including City Hall, Emmanuel church…. to Chinese temple and town. Enjoy the most outstanding monument in Yangon: Shwedagon Pagoda. This is a prominent historical site where you can enjoy panoramic view of the city and experience the local religion.

You will get much information about the local cultural, history, temples and pagoda from our tour guide. Do not forget to bring your camera for sunset hunting from this pagoda.

Day – (2)                                           Yangon – Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock Pagoda)                            (B)

In the morning, you will drive 5 hours to Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda. We will arrived to base camp (Kimpun Base) first. Travel by local, open-air truck along a winding road (1 hour) where you be dropped off at bus station. After a few minutes walking, reach the Golden Rock.  A huge boulder covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff, Golden Rock is one of Myanmar’s main pilgrimage sites.  The pagoda here is said to hold a hair of the Buddha and Buddhists from across the country come here to pay homage.

Day – (3)                                           Kyaikhtiyo – Bago – Yangon                                                                (B)

After morning breakfast, you will watch the sunrise on the top of Golden Rock pagoda. In the late morning, you will down to the base camp. Then continue your drive back to Yangon by car. On the way, visit to Bago, located only 80 km, was an ancient capital of Mon Kingdom in 15th century and enjoy the Bago sightseeing including Shwethalyaung Reclining Buddha (55 metres long), Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Myo Ma Local Market, 28-meter-high huge Buddha Image of Kyaikpun Pagoda, Chinese Kwanyin Temple and upon your interest, you can visit the Kanbawzathardi Palace of King Bayinnaung. Then drive back to Yangon.

Today is your leisure at hotel before transfer to airport for your departure flight.
