Day 2: Mon State Wonders

Embark on a full-day exploration of the Mon State, immersing yourself in the cultural and natural wonders of the region. Visit the stunning Kyauktalon Taung, also known as the Waterfall Mountain, where cascading waterfalls create a picturesque landscape. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the cool waters and marvel at the surrounding lush greenery.

Continue your journey to the Kyaikmaraw Pagoda, famous for its giant reclining Buddha statue. Explore the temple complex and learn about the Mon people's religious traditions and practices.

Visit the iconic Win Sein Taw Ya, the largest reclining Buddha in the world, showcasing intricate artistic details and offering a serene atmosphere for contemplation.

In the afternoon, explore the Bilu Island, known for its traditional craftsmanship. Interact with local artisans and witness the creation of bamboo handicrafts, pottery, and traditional Mon sarongs.

In the evening, return to Mawlamyine and enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant, savoring the flavors of authentic Mon cuisine.

Day 3: Thanbyuzayat and Setse Beach

Embark on a poignant journey to Thanbyuzayat, a town with historical significance from World War II. Visit the Thanbyuzayat War Cemetery, a memorial dedicated to the Allied prisoners of war who lost their lives during the construction of the infamous Burma Railway, also known as the Death Railway.
